Senior Software Developer

Job Description:

• The successful applicant will be providing programming support in the short term with a view to becoming Primary Software Engineer for TQS software projects.
• Provide support/Recommendations to existing TQS team on software aspects of projects
• Act as Senior software point of contact for TQS
• Provide recommendations on development approaches employed with regard to:
• Coding Standards
• Source code management and retention
• Become the Prime engineer on knowledge of TQS applications

Minimum Requirements

Candidates should have a degree in a relevant Engineering or software discipline with at least 4 years’ experience as a software developer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Manufacturing and have demonstrable experience as a Software Developer. A full clean driving licence is required for this position.

Locations

Based at the TQS head offices in Dungarvan, Co. Waterford. The successful applicant will be expected to travel to client sites in within Ireland the USA and Europe as required.

Desired Skills

• Proficiency in VB, VB.NET, ASP.NET
• Knowledge of C, C#, C++
• Experience with SharePoint and & Microsoft Technologies Development
• Experience with MS SQL Server and other RDBMS
• Experience working in a GMP regulated environment
• Familiarity with OSIsoft software is preferable but not necessary
• Experience with flash based applications
